Meeta Kaur is a seasoned author, researcher, community educator and speaker.
Currently, she is the lead creator and editor for Kaurs Reimagine, Sikh Women Blaze New Trails, a story collection that spotlights truth-centered storytelling as the site for acceptance, healing, and transformation. Kaur, the editorial team, and the writers have created a working space that prioritizes whole human collaboration, transparency, relearning and unlearning, support, and gentle encouragement to lead with
courage.
She was also the lead visionary and creative editor for the story collection Her Name Is Kaur: Sikh American Women Write About Love, Courage, and Faith. This story collection highlights Sikh American women expanding “the love story” through their lived experiences. The stories illustrate how Sikhi is lived as an ever-evolving love story in human form.
A proud California native, Kaur lives in Washington D.C. with her life partner, Banjot Singh Chanana, her children, Benanti Kaur and Sidak Singh, and Labordoodle, Pluto. The chapter in D.C. is known as life-changing growth.

Sonia Kaur
Marketing Director

@Thatpunjabimom
Sonia Kaur is a Sikh mother of three who was born and raised in California and lives in Connecticut with her family. She is a digital marketing professional, with experience in the corporate world, as an entrepreneur and as an online content creator.
She is excited to combine her passion for marketing with her love of writing in this wonderful project, and can’t wait to see how it touches the lives of people around the world. When not working or momming, Sonia can likely be found walking, soaking in sunshine, or thinking of another part of her home to organize (but not actually getting around to it).
Manroocha Kaur
Curriculum Lead

Manroocha is a passionate educator, curriculum designer, and true cheerleader for the Kaurs Reimagine project. She has taught elementary education in classrooms across Philadelphia and Brooklyn, and then pivoted to work in the non-profit space to help boost access to high quality education resources for all families and students.
She is excited about curriculum involving real-world math, the cultural histories of math concepts, socio-emotional learning, executive functioning lessons, and other concepts connected to building resilience in our youth. She is an avid gamer and Pokémon fan, who thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dog, and jigsaw puzzles.
Harjit Kaur
Legal Counsel

@KaurArts @NovelWhims
Harjit Kaur is an author contributor and legal counsel for our Kaurs ReImagine Project. With Waheguruji’s mehr, she has been blessed to dedicate over a decade of her career to civil rights, human rights, and advocacy on behalf of survivors of sexual assault, harassment, and domestic violence—serving the most vulnerable populations in the community.
When she is not busy lawyering, or painting a new piece inspired by her activism, you can find Harjit curled up with a heart-tugging novel and an exceptionally large cup of coffee/chaa snuggled up next to Tarandeep Singh Bali (her husband), Baaz (her rescue dog), Donut (her doggy niece), or one of her rescued foster pups.
